Client: Karlee and Spencer, owners of 5024 General Store, a skateboard shop located in Lacombe, Alberta.

Rationale: I designed a skateboard for 5024 General Store, a friendly skate shop in Lacombe, Alberta. My goal was to show the shop’s welcoming atmosphere and modern style. I used bright colours to appeal to young skaters and created a lively design that matched the shop’s relaxed vibe. The design features geometric shapes and various patterns and colours. At the top, you’ll see the store’s name with three lines, representing the shop’s modern look. I wanted to capture the energy and diversity of the skate community, as well as the store’s inclusive feel. In the center, I placed the store’s logo figure. Around it, I added elements that represent Lacombe’s landscapes and nature. This mix of abstract and local elements creates a unique design that reflects both the store and its community.
